Mac mini plötzlich aus ?!

Hallo,
bin neu hier und komme direkt mit einem Problem.
Mein mac mini geht seit einiger Zeit einfach aus und startet dann neu.
Hatte Lion installiert. nun habe ich im taget-disk-mode VIA Firewire die Daten gerettet ( der Mac ging dabei nicht aus?!?) und habe ihn komplett neu installiert. Mit Leopard. Damit wurde er auch ausgeliefert.
Leider macht er immer noch diese spontanen Aussetzer. Fährt aber immer wieder hoch.
Ein Hardware-Test (die ausführliche Form) blieb Ergebnislos.

Jedoch wird doch dabei das Netzteil nicht geprüft?!? Kann es sein das es defekt ist…
Gereinigt habe ich ihn auch noch nie. SOllte man dieses tun?
Die Staubsaugermethode finde ich jedoch ein wenig rabiat.
Kann man den kleinen vielleicht kurz öffnen?

Hi MacKermit,

habe das Thema mal von diesem hier abgetrennt, weil es sich mit Mac OS X Lion ja eher nicht um einen PPC mini handelt. Wenn er derartig auf die Nase gefallen ist, mach doch nach dem Neustart mal die „Konsole“ auf (Programme->Dienstprogramme->Konsole), und kopiere uns die letzten 20-30 Zeilen oberhalb des letzten Eintrags „BOOT_TIME“ hier rein - dann schauen wir mal, ob man da etwas sehen kann.

Hallo MacKermit,

interessanter als der Start ist vermutlich der Zeitraum vor dem unerwarteten Ausschalten. Ich schätze, darauf bezog sich auch die Frage von Jörg - der Punkt “BOOT_TIME” ist halt am einfachsten zu finden. Daher dann eben auch gleich 20-30 Zeilen drüber… Du kannst am Uhrzeitstempel erkennen, wo die Lücke zwischen unerwartetem Ausschalten und dem Neustart liegt. Die letzten 20-30 Einträge vor Auftreten des Fehlers sind die spannenden

Ich habe versucht den Rechner am laufen zu halten… Es gestaltet sich sehr schwer die Infos zu beschaffen… er geht halt immer wieder aus. Kaum eine Chance die Infos zu kopieren und in eine Datei zu speichern um sie dann auf einem Stick zu speichern…

Habe nun den Schneeleoparden installiert… hat alles funktioniert…

…gerade ist er eingefroren…

man ist das schwer… kann es sein das die HD 'nen knacks hat??? Tests haben keine Fehlermeldung gebracht… Auch das Rechtesystem gecheckt.

Du hattest den Mini doch auch schon im Target Mode an einem anderen Rechner laufen? Wenn Du von dort auf die Festplatte des Mini zugreifen kannst, liegt das Systemlog unter
[Volumename des Mini]/var/log/system.log
Der Ordner ist per se nicht sichtbar, kann aber im Finder angesteuert werden über “Gehe zum Ordner”; oder aber über Programme wie mucommander, der versteckte Verzeichnisse auch normal mit anzeigt. Die Datei system.log kannst Du dann per TextEdit o.ä. öffnen. Halt nur drauf achten, dass Du wirklich das Log von der Mini-Festplatte erwischst und nicht versehentlich das vom “Rettungs-Mac”

Hallo MacKermit,

gehe ich recht in der Annahme, das es sich um einen Mid 2007er Mini (2,1) handelt? Da müßte das Netzteil extern und verschweißt sein, da kann man nichts reinigen. Bist Du oder der Vorbesitzer Programmierer gewesen (würde XCode erklären und warum es von einer externen Platte/Sicherung nicht starten kann, das läuft nur von einer internen Platte - das ist aber erst mal sekundär)? Läuft der Lüfter wenn Du startest? (Fühl mal hinten am Mini, wo die Luft ausgeblasen wird). Es kann sein, das beim Rumbasteln eventuell der Lüfter nicht eingesteckt wurde und der Mini (gerade bei diesem Wetter) heiß läuft und eine Schutzabschaltung deswegen abschaltet - unabhängig vom Betriebsystem. Ich bin zwar noch auf andere Ungereimtheiten gestoßen, vor allem fehlenden Internetzugang und daraus fehlenden Updates, würde fast vermuten, das der Mini bei einem Updatevorgang im Anmeldezyklus bei Apple (Anmeldedialog) “abgewürgt” wurde, da ich aber bei so einem Wetter draußen nach einigen Minuten “Quälcode” Analyse nur noch weiße Mäuse vor meinen Augen tanzen sehe, bin ich mir da jetzt nicht sicher.

Hallo,
danke für die analyse der Log-Infos.
Der Lüfter läuft, auch deutlich hörbar nach dem Plattenwechsel.
XCODE ist ein Usb-Stick, den ich mal für das Programmieren mit XCODE benutzt habe.
Habe diesen genutzt, um die Infos der Log-Files abzulegen.
Der Mini bleibt nicht lange genug an um es direkt ins Forum zu schreiben.
Keine Internetverbindung um evetuelle Probleme mit “Wake-On-Lan”-Funktionen auszuschliessen.
Vielleicht habe ich heute abend Zeit in ans Netz zu hängen, damit er sich alle Umdates ziehen kann.
Der Mini stand ganz frei auf dem Tisch. Ein Hitzeproblem schliesse ich aus.

Durchmessen ist schwierig - das ganze macht eigentlich nur unter Last Sinn - das heisst, Du müsstest das Netzteil-Kabel anzapfen - und ohne Oszilloskop kann man auch nichts genaues sagen, weil bereits kurzzeitige Spannungseinbrüche unter Last solche Probleme verursachen können - kurz davor und danach kann alles ok sein! Ist das ein Mini mit externem oder internem Netzteil (sorry, habe nix dazu in Deinen Postings gefunden auf die Schnelle…)?

Hast Du ggf. jemand im Bekanntenkreis mit einem Mac mini der gleichen Serie? Dann könntest Du mal ein Netzteil leihen bzw. den Mini dorthin mitnehmen…?
